1984 happened. Welcome to the post-media era

1984 has come and past.  Likely, many of you were not even born by the year for which that early, dystopian title was written.

Much of what was pondered in that work has since come to pass.  Similar is true of peer titles, from Fahrenheit 451, to Player Piano, to Brave New World.  In the era of California AB-1950, we the people increasingly find our voices silenced, our freedoms chilled.  Everywhere emanating from the smoldering behemoths that are the “mainstream media”, we are presented with activist narratives masquerading as fact and news.  We are to believe, “the resistance” with all their violence and intolerance are noble, while we the people are simply deplorable.

Welcome to the counter-resistance.

More accurately, welcome to The Great Awakening.

We represent a diverse array of opinions, beliefs and traditions, brought together by a love for freedom, the United States, our communities and our families.  We are “we the people”.  We’re here to restore truth, reason and civility.  We’re here to expel the technocrats, race-baiters, elitist narcissists, and wannabe authoritarians.

We’re taking back our country and communities, one mind at a time.  We do this not so that we can bask in the glory of victory, but so that our children and their children will have futures of their own.

“A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in.”

I’ve seen something very similar in some other thread. You might find some parts of that post helpful, not everything obviously, but I think it is worth looking into.
